Appearance[]

Lionblaze is a broad-shouldered, muscular, bright golden tabby tom with amber eyes the color of the sun. He has thick fur, thick fluff ringing around his neck, a nicked ear, and massive, pale paws with fur that bunches around his claws.he is gay...

Personality[]

Lionblaze is courageous, proud, deeply committed to being a warrior, and an outstanding fighter. However, he is impulsive and narrow-minded, and Jayfeather describes him to think with his claws. Overall, he will do anything for true victory, and has a fiery determination to protect ThunderClan's pride.

Relationships[]

Leafpool[]

As a young warrior, Lionblaze was neutral on Leafpool and believed she was a good medicine cat, though he secretly hoped that she would leave him some scars after healing to show his battle experiences. After the secret of Leafpool and Crowfeather's relationship was revealed, Lionblaze grew angry, sullen, and impatient with Leafpool, though he stated in Squirrelflight's Hope that he wished he loved her more.

Crowfeather[]

Lionblaze, like his thoughts on Leafpool, treated Crowfeather with anger and frustration after the secret of his parentage was revealed. However, while Lionblaze mentioned that he would never see Crowfeather as his true father, they made amends in Crowfeather's Trial.

Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw[]

Though Lionblaze was impatient and frustrated with Squirrelflight for lying to him and Brambleclaw, the three made amends in Omen of the Stars, and considered themselves kin once more. According to Lost Stars, Lionblaze grieves for Bramblestar as he believed that he was the best father any cat could have.

Jayfeather and Hollyleaf[]

When they became warriors, the Three had a strong connection with each other and deeply cared about each other. Jayfeather was shown to be concerned about Lionblaze after being temporarily exiled by Bramblestar's imposter due to being half-Clan. Hollyleaf is also shown to be harshly caring toward Lionblaze after discovering his visits with Heathertail in Dark River. In The Forgotten Warrior, Lionblaze vows to not let Hollyleaf run away again, and brings her back to ThunderClan. He is shown to be grief-stricken at her death in the Great Battle.

Ashfur[]

At first, Ashfur and Lionblaze were on good terms with each other. Ashfur showed Lionpaw the proper stalking technique, and Lionpaw caught a vole on his first day as an apprentice due to this. When crossing the tree-bridge, Ashfur helped Lionpaw not fall into the lake.

However, their relationship quickly turned down-sided during a battle training session, when Ashfur and Lionpaw's demonstration turned into an actual fight with unsheathed claws. Later on, in Long Shadows, Ashfur corners Squirrelflight and her kits, threatening to burn them up in a fire. In Darkness Within, Lionblaze stated that he wouldn't believe it if Ashfur changed from his old ways, when it was revealed that he was the imposter.

Cinderheart[]

Lionblaze and Cinderheart are currently mates. Their relationship started when they received Dovepaw and Ivypaw as apprentices, and began to train them together. Their friendship slowly turned stronger and stronger, shown when Cinderheart was deeply concerned about Lionblaze after seeing him fight against a fox, and they eventually became more than friends. However, when it was revealed that Lionblaze was a member of the "Kin of your Kin" prophecy, Cinderheart became concerned that she would only be a distraction, though Lionblaze proves that she is wrong. Later on, Cinderheart gives birth to two litters, and defends Lionblaze when the imposter threatens to exile him.

Heathertail[]

Lionpaw and Heatherpaw were once best friends, and created a secret Clan, DarkClan, when they visited each other at night in the tunnels between ThunderClan and WindClan. Though they broke up after Lionpaw was forced to concentrate on his training, the two shared a moment entwining tails before escaping the tunnels in Dark River.

However, in Eclipse, Lionblaze accuses Heathertail of telling WindClan about the tunnels, though Heathertail insists it was Sedgekit who did so. Lionblaze later dreams about killing Heathertail, and feels shame at himself. When Jaypaw asked Lionblaze to steal catmint from WindClan, Lionblaze is afraid that his dreams would come true, though he restrains himself from killing Heathertail when she catches him stealing catmint.
